- Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Chris Sandlin is a freelance illustrator under the moniker of SockMonkee. He graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design but his love and passion is illustration. Chris enjoys creating fun and unique characters, scenery design, typographical designs, and whatever else inspires him.Aside from his freelance work, Chris owns the SockMonkee Collection which is solely a collection of artwork and apparel which you can purchase.
